I was getting a tooth extracted by the Periodontist Dr. Ashour and was nervous as can be while I was waiting for my appointmentAlmost immediately when I heard my name called in the most amazing way by Dr. Ashour's Assistant Jay the whole energy and vibes changed in the best way possible.The consult was quick and to the point, Dr. Ashour answered all my question and the need for bone grafting.I ended up getting my tooth pulled the same day, the procedure couldn't have been better, Dr. Ashour was very professional and his Assistant Jay gave the same comforting energy the whole time, explaining things as they were happening and ensuring I was numb throughout the procedure. I even got a little serenade from the music they were playing.You could tell by the way they worked and confidence that that they were a good team.After the treatment they made sure all my care instruction questions were answered.I couldn't recommended them more

Recently had multiple gum grafts done by Dr. Ashour and he does amazing work. Both him and his assistant Jay are like peanut butter and jelly together. They truly balance each other out and bring a comfortable and confident experience in a not so ideal environment. I appreciate the work they do together. If you need a straight forward, professional and SKILLED periodontist then Dr. Ashour is your guy.

I was terrified for my gum surgery, everyone i know that had it, said it was painful and a terrible experience, so i was not happy i had to have it done. Let me tell you my final experience was actually painless and results were fantastic. Dr made sure during the procedure i was comfortable and was not in pain. Only negative of the experience was not being able to eat on that side of my mouth for a week, but thats obvious and expected. I would recommend Dr Ashour to anyone needing gum surgery.

Dr.Ashour and his assistant Jay gave me the best dental experience hands down considering what i was going in for.From beginning to end Dr. Ashour was very thorough in his explanation of the treatment and what to expect.His assistant Jay throughout every interaction was able ease any worries I'd have and honestly made it hard for me to not let out a chuckle here and there during the procedure, which just shows how comfortable the whole thing was.Hopefully I never have to do another treatment again but if I do I know where I'll be going

I had a gum graft done that went very well. Got my gums corrected in no time. Dr. Ashour is very professional and adds a bit a fun to the usual experience. I am very pleased with how my procedure went.

Dr. Ashour performed surgery to extract all upper teeth, place 6 implant 'screws' and affix a temporary denture. Honestly, I was never in pain, resuming normal activities the next day. I am very pleased with Dr. Ashour's treatment. He was professional in every way and addressed all questions I've had. I had to have gum surgery and I was very nervous because I never had a procedure like this before. Dr. Ashour and his assistant Jay we amazing. They explained what the procedure was and what to expect, answered all of my questions, assuaged my fears, and made sure I was properly numbed before starting. The procedure itself only took about 25-20 minutes and Dr. Ashour was very attentive to my need to take small breaks. He thoroughly explained aftercare and the healing process and provided care supplies to take home with me. Honestly this was the best dental experience I've had with a provider. If I ever need a periodontist again, I'll be sure to schedule with Dr. Ashour.

I was referred to Dr.Ashour due to progressive bone loss despite going in regularly for exams & cleaning. Dr.Ashour only visited the Federal Way Bright Now Dental a couple times a month so there were plenty of patients waiting to be seen by him. That being said I understand his need to quickly get me in and out of the office. But the lack of thoroughness baffled the dental office who referred me in the first place because Dr.Ashour looked at my X-rays and even probed deep pockets during my exam. He told me “you have enough bone, just get a water floss”. His chart note was one worded & inaccurate. I was in high need of a thorough treatment plan or at least a referral to another specialist. Dr.Ashour was polite but incredibly negligent and clearly wanted to speed up the process of getting patients in and out of the office. It’s irresponsible and I feel sorry for other patients who might face worsening dental health because of him. I do not recommend being examined or treated by him.
