Dr. Jamie Kim, DMD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Kim for a couple of years. She is absolutely the best dentist I’ve ever had. She listens to my concerns; she’s very gentle when she works. She also works with me prioritizing what can wait for next year with insurance. Her staff is very flexible and accommodating!

Asked about an ongoing tooth infection that was mistreated from another dentist. Without even taking a look at the previous dental records (x-rays, etc.) she immediately jumped to the conclusion that it was not the dentist's fault.

A week after this happened, my daughter chipped a very healthy tooth, so we went back to Dr Kim for that.A small chip, but because she mentioned in the past that she wanted to replace its filling and put a crown, she decided to do a crown prep when we went to her. The tooth was healthy, no problems at all, but just the one cusp had cracked eating pizza.After the prep, on the drive home my daughter started complaining of pain. We through it would subside in a day or two, but that was not the case. Every day that went by the pain as getting worse, until it was unbearable. At this point we went back to Dr Kim, and she said it needed a root canal, and tried to say she told us it was possible, and all other lies of why it was hurting now.As she said that to my daughter, I told her” no, She never had this pain at that tooth, it was fine without any issues until you did that crown prep!” At that point she said it needed a root canal, without testing It, we ended it there with her.

Dr. Jamie Kim is a top-notch dentist. (& a top-notch human being!) She has greatly helped me in overcoming my lifelong fear of going to the dentist. She's got an almost magical gentle touch that allows her to swiftly do what she needs to do...all the while listening to my concerns with patience & genuine caring. As the first reviewer stated above, she often asks how we're doing as she works in our mouths. She's the BEST EVER! & also has beautiful views from her dental chairs of merrily chirping birds in the tall trees outside the windows. I give her 100 stars!! & her assistants too!

She is very gentle and allows you to raise your hand if you need to stop for any reason. I haven't needed to but having the option greatly reduces my dental anxiety.
