Dr. Jason West, DDS

Initially, Dr. West's office staff was friendly and professional. I was told there would be no charge for the consultation as long as I had x-rays sent from my dentist's office, which I did. Dr. West was very good during the consultation. The following week when checking my dental insurance online, I realized Dr. West had billed and received $75 from my insurance benefits!!! I was never once told that I would be billed, I didn't sign any authorizing benefits from my insurance and I was never given any receipt showing the charge. When I called the office twice about the charge, the staff was extremely rude and disrespectful, telling me I was “wasting their time and they had important clients waiting”. Two staff members said the money didn't come out of my pocket to which I explained that it certainly would if I chose to have any dental work done this year. Finally, I was told the office manager would call me back but of course no one called. This is very, VERY wrong!!

Dr. West did the procedure for two implants. When I came back three months later to see if the bone graft took, they couldn't make a determination. Sent me for X rays (150.00 more) and said I needed a sinus lift which would cost an additional $7000.00!! And the Dr. West didn't speak with me, or explain anything, he had his assistant do it. I had another Periodontist do the sinus lift for $1,000 and he stated Dr. West should have known to do it when he first did the implant procedure.

This place is like a factory...the staff is rude, they just want to get you out of the office so that they can make more money with the next patient. Dr. West did not listen to my concerns about the pain I was exeperiencing for months after the extraction he performed. During my last visit, when I told Dr. West I was still experiencing pain, he simply ignored me, and he and his assistant tried to convince me to schedule an implant. Their focus is money, not the patient. Do not go there!
