Be careful with this office. I was told I needed thousands of dollars for treatment from crowns and deep cleaning and fillings, went for a second opinion and was told the complete opposite.

Be aware of this dentist …I came here based on the good reviews and ignored the bad reviews. But after visiting Jayne Hoffman for the first time, now i understand why people are giving her the 1 star rating. she gave me a treatment plan for over 10k, I thought that was a bit extreme so I went to get a second opinion and was told all I needed was a couple of fillings not to mention she told me that my insurance will only cover 20% for crowns. I called my insurance and they told me they would cover 80% , so she underestimated my insurance to overcharge me. What kind of dentist does that?

Be careful with this office Jayne Hoffman in Santa Clara. She will overcharge you and under estimate insurance portion to make you pay more, once insurance pays she will keep your credit balance. Get detailed receipts ask questions

I have come back to edit my review; I have been trying to contact the staff Rosa and Simi to get an explanation on hidden fees being charged without clarification. Also, this dentist went out of network for my primary insurance, MetLife, and they purposefully did not disclose this was the case and started charging me out-of-network prices. I trusted them that they wouldn't be taking advantage of me, but upon checking with my insurance, I found I was being overcharged outside of the network for routine cleaning work. Since I have been unable to get in touch with them I was forced to come here to post a review and hopefully get some resolution. This is immoral practice to not disclose when unnecessary fees are being paid.

3 attempts of crown, 1 temporary and 2 permanent, they all broke within 24 hours of service. A very expensive service charge but the workmanship is very poor.

The quality of care is very good. My family is particularly fond of our hygienist Simi. A little pricey.

Jayne Hoffman charged $2800 for a metal stay plate. I took the stay plate to 2 dentist for confirmation. I showed them Jayne Hoffman's bill for the metal stay plate they confirmed it was NOT metal, it was a flexible plastic material. 2 dentist confirmed Hoffman's stay plate caused gum trauma. It was inappropriate appliance.
