I went here years ago, had a root canal, that was very painful. During the procedure a file broke and I was quickly told I needed to go to a specialist in Portland. He did not clean or sterilize the area and just told me to go to the specialist. I went to the specialist, the next day my face was swollen and I was in pain. Specialist informed me that the previous dentist, did not clean or sterilize the area and that is why I had an infection. I came back to Troy Dentistry for aftercare of a crown. I was told that all my dental benefit money was gone from attending the root canal and the specialist. I asked Dr. Troy if I could pay the amount I original was quote to pay since he was the dentist that broke the file and caused my money to be spent on his error. He refused and said I had to pay the full amount. He had zero empathy for the infection and pain I had from his procedure and took no responsibly for his error.
