Dr. Jeffrey Buxton, DMD

The professionals at Peak Dental are very caring and friendly. It was found out that I had a small cavity with an x-ray. Even though I was there to get a semi-annual checkup, Dr. Amanda Kempainen, DMD, agreed to take care of the cavity, and did an excellent procedure due to the fact that I drive from Tooele and she was willing to get it done for me. Everyone is very friendly, and professional.

I am a former patient of Dr. Christensen who turned his practice over to Buxton Dentistry before retiring. Dr. Christensen and his staff was one of the best in the business, but my experience with Dr. Buxton and his staff (now Peak Dental) has been extremely frustrating. I have had a new filling break and replaced only to break again. I got a crown that is not quite the right size leading to food getting stuck between my teeth. I have been charged double the amount my insurance explanation of benefits says I owed and never heard about a refund. The dental hygienists have been of inconsistent quality; some seemed to know what they were doing. Others, not so much. I really miss Dr. Christensen's excellent hygienist. Despite having different insurance coverage, my family's bills were all included on one account making it impossible to tell where the insurance money was going and what my family really owed. My family have finally decided to take our business elsewhere.

The best medical professionals in any category that I currently visit. Dr. Christensen is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and relaxed. He lectures and travels quite a bit now, but still makes time for his patients. Tried other dentists when we lived in DC but he’s the best.

Excellent!! Dr. Buxton is very patient and had my best interest at heart. I had questions and concerns about myself, that lead into questions and concerns about my daughter and he happily pulled up her x-rays and discussed her! even though it was my appointment. He also, told me that a future appointment with her wouldn’t be necessary and he didn’t want to waste my time or money :) unbelievable!! The staff referred me to a match with our future ortho as well. Everyone is honest, A+++ Great team

I have not met Dr. Buxton, I am and have been a patient of Dr. Mark Christensen for approximately 15 years. Dr. C is an incredible dentist and person. I have had four dentists in my lifetime and Dr. C is one of the very best in the profession. Their hygienist, Elizabeth, is incredible also--very thorough and meticulous with her work. I highly recommend this dental practice and their personnel.
