recommend getting a second opinion for any work they want to do. I hope sharing my experience helps future patients avoid unnecessary pain and pricey bills. In April 2023 I went in for a routine cleaning and the dr recommended an old filling from a prior dental office be replaced, even though I didn't have any issues with said tooth. I thought it was odd but decided to listen to the dr because I'm not a dental health expert. In May 2023 I had the filling done and that evening something felt off- hot/cold sensitivity, inflammation, throbbing pain that spread along my jaw and led to headaches. After my second follow up at Capehart, a different dr referred me to a specialist for a root canal. I regret getting work done because it resulted in 2 months of pain, several dental visits, a root canal, and now a crown.

In 2015 Dr. Dworak placed an implant for me. I remember his telling me that after reviewing my x-ray my sinus was low, so he was going to place a low profile post/implant. The charge for this procedure was $3,138.00. The implant failed within months and came out. My new oral surgeon said I should have had a sinus lift before an implant was placed. He said Dr. Dworak had placed it so shallow in my gum, it was like putting a fence post in sand. Capehart offered no refund or compensation. Ginger S

I was told I needed a lot of dental work including 3 crowns and an extensive cleaning which would require two visits. After insurance, it was still going to cost a ton of money. I had so many medical bills because of a very sick child so put off going back to the dentist for two years. When I decided to start having this work done, imagine my surprise when I went to a different dentist and only needed one crown and had one cavity. Cleaned my teeth with normal process.
