Dr. Jeffrey Gorman, DMD

I had an appointment with Dr. Gorman on November 14, 2023 and asked him to replace a missing filling. His office performed full mouth xrays, and a full cleaning because they checked and found that my insurance would cover that cost. As for the filling he said that he would check to see if the insurance would cover the cost of a crown. I called his office on January 8, 2024 to ask the status of the insurance company's decision on the crown. Jodie, from Dr. Gorman's office told me that they still had not heard from the insurance company. On January 24, 2024 I called and again asked if the insurance company would approve the crown. Jodie told me that they had no idea. I saw another dentist earlier today, they took two xrays of the affected tooth, then the dentist looked at tooth, and recommended a root canal and then placing a crown on the tooth. Five minutes later the dentist told me that the insurance company approved the full cost and that I can have it performed next week.

Low quality medi-cal office. Went for consult, would never go back.

Dr. Gorman runs a friendly, clean, cheery office and is very patient, and so far painless, with our adult daughter who has special needs. This is almost unheard of in an office that accepts Medi-cal. I commend his willingness to work with those less fortunate while treating them like they have a top-paying PPO!
