Dr. Jessie Yang, DDS

I usually have a lot of dental questions and Dr. Yang has always answered each and every one of them. She is really patient and kind, and also educated me on the importance of flossing. I didn't know I was flossing wrong for the longest until I saw Dr. Yang. I get a lot of plaque build up so I was recommended to get my cleanings every 3-4 months. This drastically improved my oral hygiene. You only get one set of adult teeth after all :). Whenever my family is in town, I always have them book an appointment with Dr. Yang to make sure everything is nice and healthy! I was so happy when I found out that she's closed by to Downtown which is like 10-15 minutes away from me. I feel like I've found the dentist that will take care of me for the rest of my life.

Admittedly, I was overdue for a visit when I first saw Dr. Yang. She was attentive, communicated clearly, and did not even chastise me for not having seen a dentist in nearly two years! She carefully walked through the xrays, highlighted problematic areas, and made recommendations on optional vs critical treatments. I tend to ask a lot of questions, but Dr. Yang is always patient . I appreciate her making a distinction between what is needed for health (necessary) and what was purely cosmetic (optional). In my next visit to fill cavities, I was pleasantly surprised when I did not feel a thing between numbing to drilling - a stark comparison from my nightmares as a kid. It was also apparent that Dr. Yang worked and communicated effectively with the dental assistants and front desk. They all seemed to only reinforce what the doctor had recommended. In the past, I have witnessed many dentists who chastise their dental assistants or front desk who push different, expensive treatments.
