Unnecessary work
For the 10 years or so I was with him, I mysteriously had 7 cavities every 6 months. Always 7. No more, no less. One time, I had an obvious hole in a back tooth, showed him exactly where it was, and he drilled and filled a completely different tooth which had no pain, nor any mention of a problem. Then there's the fact that he consistently needed to give me 4-6 shots to get me numb. Not one other dentist I've been to before or since has had to use more than 2. I was only with him that long because he was the family dentist and I was a minor. I ran far away when I finally could. I recommend you do, too.
