Dr. Coats has been my endodontist for 30 years. He did 11 root canals on me in one sitting because I asked him too. Then about 2 years later, i developed a bone infection in my jaw and he took care of it for me. He is a kind and conscientous doctor, gentle and he can relate to your pain levels. I recommend him to everyone I know!!!

Dr Coats took the time to explain the situation with my tooth and answer any questions I had. He was thorough and pleasant. His staff were friendly and helpful. This was my first time visit and I was very pleased.

Dr. Coats was very arrogant with a horrible bedside manner. After he did a procedure on my tooth, I developed a serious infection with pronounced swelling in my face. He seemed uninterested about it. I ended up in the ER where they found a large abscess. A very caring and personable oral surgeon treated me in the ER. Needless to say, I didn't go back to Dr. Coats for followup and further treatment. I now see the oral surgeon who treated me in the ER. I won't go back to Dr. Coats.

Super friendly and helpful staff , very informative and straightforward with pricing, quick and thorough, they even went the extra mile to get me in and finished before my daughter’s wedding so I could be present in the monument for it and not in pain. Thank you all ever so much.

My goodness. What is going on? I went in for Dr. Coats to do some work. My tooth after he did the root canal, hurts even more. The surgery he did to three failed root canal (infections) are causing me even more pains and even worse than no works. My goodness. who is this guy? This is not right. I though he was honest, guess I am so wrong and .... Dr. Coats, I did not know you can't even do a root canal.....

Do not ever trust your dental work to Dr Coates. He will do unnecessary work, overcharge you, cause great pain and years of repairing his work.

This man is the most untrustworthy and dishonest endodontist. He is in it for the money and performs completely unnecessary procedures. I have been paying for the damage he caused me for years. Do NOT use him or trust him.

Dr. Coats, right off the bat, was very welcoming and explained exactly what was happening and what he would do. Coming in a little timid and with a lot of pain, he, as well as his staff, helped me through the process. I was immediately relieved of much of my pain after and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a root canal.

Coats did a surgical procedure called an Apico Ectomy where he makes an incision high up on the side of your gums, removes the root tips and completes a root canal. He told me he wanted to do It this way because I already had a crown on the tooth. Coats was supposed to remove the root tips but he left 1 of them in my gums. It caused severe pain and infection for almost two years before a periodontist found it and fixed it. I even asked Coats if he did remove the root tips, he lied and said yes!
