I WOULD GIVE A MINUS RATING. TOTALLY MISSED THE PROBLEM FOR WHICH I WAS REFERRED TO HIM … COSTLY, PAINFUL AND TIME CONSUMING FOR NO GOOD RESULT AND PRECIOUS TIME LOST. HOW CAN HE POSSIBLY BE A TOP DOC IN DELAWARE???

My mother had a dental emergency and needed to see her Periodontist. Since her Periodontist's office was unresponsive, we had to find an alternate Periodontist quickly. We scoured some top local dental reviews and ended up at Dr. Fontana's Dover, DE office. We were absolutely 100% impressed with his concerned and professional staff. Within minutes of finishing his last patient, he helped my mother to the examining room. We had a professional diagnosis 20 minutes later. A+, Caring Doc!

Had an implant done by Dr. Fontana. I have been to many dentists, so I have basis for comparison, and he is EXCELLENT. Tells you what he will do, puts you at ease, keeps you posted during the procedure, asks if you are okay frequently, and clearly knows what he is doing. His assistant is considerate and capable and they work well together. It is a long procedure (I needed a bone graft) but felt no pain. I declined a prescription for pain killers and well over 24 hrs later I have felt no pain.

my father has dementia and Dr Fontana was very patient. He made sure my father was comfortable allowing him to relax when he became restless. he than explained what he found and how we would go about correcting the problem.
