John Garza

I've used Dr G for years! Since like 2012? I absolutely love him and granted he's out of my dental network providers, but he's the only dentist who has saved my teeth. Others wanted to yank them only because it's the easiest. Dr Garza is the only dentist I trust and will ever use. I drive 60 miles to see him if that says anything.

We only went in for a single visit, but we were thoroughly unimpressed. It was a waste of money for the visit. I rated Dr. Garza three stars because we only had a one day experience and though we were not pleased with the experience, I am giving the benefit of the doubt that more visits might have been better. Nonetheless, I felt that Dr. Garza and some staff were arrogant and the whole thing felt like a strong, pushy sales experience rather than a medical evaluation. I have sales training and I recognized several of the sales techniques. They seemed to use a lot of wording that would stir emotional responses to get a person more willing to pay big bucks. They would not offer even an average price range for treatment without us spending about $500 first (for a consult + medical scans, for which they have the patient pay a "package rate" to their office - rather than pay the radiology facility - and thus isn't covered by medical insurance). I don't have proof, but it felt like a scam.

We moved to Arizona a couple years ago in July. We wanted to find a Dentist that would meet our needs as as a family and also someone that we could trust. Dr. Garza was recommended by a friend so we booked our first appointment right away for a teeth cleaning and to have Dr. Garza look at a crown that fell out right after we moved to AZ. Over the years we’ve obviously seen many dentists, but the knowledge and expertise we experienced with Dr. Garza was by far the very best. After our teeth cleaning I booked my appointment for not only to fix my crown, but I also needed a root canal. Once again the professionalism and treatment that I received was by far the very best. I must also mention that the staff at their office are all so very nice and they make you feel like family. I’d highly recommend Dr. Garza it you’re wanting nothing but the very best dentistry in Arizona.

I have been going to Dr. Garza for several years. His work is excellent and he explains everything thoroughly. Dr. Garza and his staff treat us like family. I have referred my entire family and several friends to him. From the time you walk in the door, to the time you leave, everyone in the office has greeted you. Love this dentist and all his staff!

Dr. Garza told my parents I needed a growth retainer and I was really scared. I thought it would hurt me and feel funny. When I went to get it in, there was no pain and I got used to it really quick. I’ve had it in for almost a month now and I love it. It’s easy to eat with and I can clean it myself. I hope I get to wear it for a long time! DO NOT GOT TO THIS DENTIST! After doing an very expensive implant, my tooth fell out 6 hours after he put it in. When the tooth was put in, he told me the lab made in incorrectly, but he would guarantee the tooth for life. When it fell out again, 3 weeks after, I was justifiably upset. Instead of fixing it, he belittled me and would not fix or put in the tooth. He is the most arrogant, self absorbed man I have ever met with zero professionalism. Go anywhere else but to this guy.

I spent thousands here for Tmj relief , and in the end only got more pain. Don’t be fooled , LVI dentistry does not work for all cases is tmj and TMD and you could end up like me , thousands spent and no symptom relief. In the end , it’s all about the mullah.

I have been a patient of Dr. Garza for 20 years. His staff is very professional. Appointments are on time. The office is immaculate. He uses cutting edge technology including crowns made on site for many procedures, saving you an extra office visit. He has further training in TMJ and related disorders. He's not on my dental plan but I wouldn't change dentists. Highly recommend.

I went in to get some relief for TMJ. The visit was nothing short of humiliating and a major lack of professionalism from all people involved. He made comments explaining why my face is elongated, talking about the bump on my nose and how my nose turns downward. He also told me “I can tell by looking at you that you don't get the best sleep”. He explained that the only way to help my TMJ would be $18,000 braces and I would have cheekbones like Angelina Jolie, never addressing my pain.
