Dr. John Gravitte, DDS

Is it true that you pay your employees to vote for you in the local newspaper so that your office will win best dentist office? Is it also true that you have employees call around to other dentist offices pretending to be potential clients so that you can find out pricing to under bid them?

This is a long overdue, "THANK YOU!" to Dr. Gravitte and his team. YOU ALL are FIRST RATE and I can't truly thank you enough for the care and patience you showered on me during my "emergency" visit back in January. And, to everyone reading this review, I honestly thought there had to be a "catch" - the place, the staff and the care was ABOVE and BEYOND anything I've ever experienced. It seemed too good to be true but the truth is they really are, "Dentistry With A Heart". I was literally in the middle of an emergency situation while on a return trip home to Pennsylvania. I was desperate and in excruciating pain with a tooth that needed to be extracted but had been delayed by me. I knew nothing of Dr. Gravitte or his team but what I did know was how much I loved Mount Airy, NC and its people. They were a terrific find on an emergency stopover in the place I refer to as "Mayberry". This is the kind of place that all dentist offices should aspire to be.

I have been going to Dr Graviite for well over a decade.... gd snd hus staff are amazing

my upper denture needed a relining. They asked for full payment before I got the denture back and had had a chance to see how they fit. The denture now fits worse , looser than before, I never needed to use denture cream, now they fall down when I open my mouth.. Sorry had this done..

The staff is awesome. Friendly and personable. Appointment times are always kept. I have been a patient of Dr. Gravitte since he has been practicing in Mount Airy and have recommended his practice to everyone I speak with. Each visit is a pleasure instead of painful.

My son is a patient of Dr Gravitte, he has been going to him since he was about 4 or 5 years old. The dental hygienists that he has had are all good with kids. My son has had his fair share of cavities and he does not dread going which says a lot about the personal care this dentist office provides. He had previously seen a pediatric dentist, Dr. Gravitte's staff was better than the pediatric staff 10 folds...more personable. I highly recommend Dr. Gravitte.

I was told I needed 2 teeth capped, got a second opinion and was told it wasn't needed that the cracks were only on the surface and normal.

My family had a great experience at the new office with Dr. Gravitte and Dr. Phelps!!! Very professional and took great care of my family!! Robert
