Dr. Judy Yu, DMD

Outstanding care! I had been going to another dentist for several years and felt like I was being moved in and moved out. The staff did all the work and the dentist breezed in and was there less than 2 minutes. I had to have a lot of work done that the other dentist never caught. That evening, Dr. Yu herself called to ask how I was doing and if there was anything the practice could have done better! Who does that? I left the office with a plan of action, but it is my decision what I will have done and when. I feel like I'm a partner in my care and not just a patient.

I have never went to Judy Yu and not left not in pain. I go in with no pain and leave with pain. She tries to rush through procedures and get you out the front door. I am done with her. If you need dental work please look somewhere else if you like no pain.

Does unnecessary work on people. Tried charging me 3600.00 dollars to redo a bridge .. qhad a second opinion and was told I absolutely did not need .. and also found out she had charged me for work that was never done ...

My first apportionment went well. Staff was pleasant

Had multiple crowns, root canals and fillings in a few short months under Dr. Yu's care and endodontist referrals. I originally made an appointment when I had very slight and sporadic pain in a molar and left with much more pain then I went in with. Of course, she said I needed two upper molar crowns and the pain was much worse after her crown preps.. then I needed 2 root canals on those teeth. Dr. Yu had to redo one filling multiple times, and it still hurt after each "correction." She said if the pain continued, I would need a root canal. Red flags flew. I got a second opinion and my new dentist said the decay wasnt even close to my root. My new dentist filled it properly and all is well now. Our new dentist had to redo all 3 of my daughters month old fillings Dr. Yu did - she had severe pain. Our new dentist said there was mushy decay under the new fillings that Dr. Yu performed. Also, my 6 month old crown just fell off. Find a new dentist. Beware of this dentist.

I saw Dr Yu several years ago. My dentist was on vacation and I had an abcess. I was in severe pain and they stayed the wrong tooth and sent me home with no pain relief but she sent me home with a list of crowns I needed and an estimate. A few days later I saw an endodontist for a foot canal. Also she misassessed a bedraggled cavity as decay.

I have been going to Dr. Yu for many years. Always a pleasure at this office. Staff is great and Dr. Yu offers but never pressures.

Great family friendly staff. Have been bring my boys since they were 4. They like visiting the dentist. We also like the care provided for the whole family.

Dr Yu is professional, personable, and a very good dentist. I would recommend her and don't understand why people have left negative comments on here and didn't explain why they are giving her a poor rating.

Dr. Yu is more interested in sharing her personal experiences and how well she is doing rather than your care. Still have a cap that does not fit correctly.
