Dr. Kathryn Beller, DDS

Not very nice or welcoming never formally introduced herself. She was very judgmental and rude about my bleeding gums and teeth grinding. She even made me swallow all the blood from her poking at them instead of using the vacuum. I had to cancel last minute due to a diabetic emergency and she sent me a $50 invoice just for missing the appt.

This is the first review of a doctor/dentist I have ever written. However, after my experience with Dr. Beller, I felt it was important that I inform people about my experience. First, I found Dr. Beller to be very distant. By this I mean she never communicated to me, clearly, what her plan was and the cost of the procedures. She told me the amount "Due Today" which I assumed the rest would be covered by insurance. It wasn't. She never provided me with her fee, for each individual service, before the procedure. Second, I found her ability to establish and maintain a solid patient-doctor rapport was profoundly deficient. Even the hygienist seemed "reserved" and this bothered me to the extent that I am writing this review. This review represents only my opinion with Dr. Beller for 3 office visits. I would not recommend this dentist.

During my experience with Dr. Beller I felt that her bedside manner, and ability to establish and maintain rapport were issues that were profoundly concerning to me. Because of this, I would not recommend this dentist.

The receptionist offered coffee, the staff and Dr Beller were very friendly. The exam was thorough and confirmed the need for a crown on the tooth a former dentist had also advised. Getting this crown was the best experience I’ve had (3 already). It took 2 1/2 hours start to finish, no temp crown, no 2nd visit. Finished in one visit. The fit is great. Even though I know where it is, I can’t see any difference! Dr beller called four days later to see if pleased with result - best ever!
