I completed all the paperwork for a new patient, set an appointment, and then they called and told me I wasn’t insured. Every time I called the insurance company, they confirmed that I was insured and that the dentist was in-network. But the dental office claimed that when they called, the insurance company told them my policy is cancelled - multiple times! When Aetna called the dental office to straighten out the problem, the dental office HUNG UP on Aetna - five times! I have reason to believe that this office is trying to get patients to pay out of pocket when they actually have insurance coverage. I spent hours trying to work this out between the dentist and the insurer. In the end, the dental office was very disrespectful, but I must say the insurance company was very friendly, cooperative, and helpful. If you too have had a similar experience with this dental office, please let me know because there’s a good chance we can do something further about the situation if they are
