Dr. Kevin Horner, DDS

I had a significant overbite as a child. I went to Dr. Kevin Horner for 3 years and my overbite was never corrected. He was extremely rude and made me cry on several occasions in the main treatment area of his old office. To say my experience there was traumatizing is an understatement. I had headgear for a year and I could not wear it, it would gag me awake at night. I tried my best at 13-14 years old. He basically threw his hands in the air and told me it was my fault and he was done. I’ve had braces as an adult to fix some alignment issues left undone by him. It was a terrible experience, I would never take my child to him. As an adult I have a lot of issues with wear on my teeth from the overbite and significant jaw pain issues. Never once did he recommend seeing an oral-maxillofacial surgeon which I should have seen during my teen years. As for his partner Dr. Barrow I have no experience with her. Hopefully she is a little more tactful and innovative as an orthodontist.

I am an adult who needed braces since I was a kid, and I couldn't be happier with my transformation and how Dr. Horner was willing to work with me and my needs as much as my teeth would allow. I Got married in the process and they were more than happy to get my braces off for that week, and replace them after free of charge. He was so wonderful about answering all my questions and making sure that I understood what was happening at each stage. I would say he is the best of the best, and I had gotten a few different quotes in town before I decided on him, Horner Barrow Orthodontics is reasonably priced and does a wonderful job! You feel like family the whole time you are there.

As a person who got braces later in life, Dr. Horner and his team made me feel super comfortable throughout the entire process and looking back I am extremely happy I went through with it with them.

Thanks to my family dentist noticing early signs of spacing in my sons front teeth referred my to Dr. Horner when my first son visited for very early orthodontics care. Due to the wonderful ways of Dr. Horner he was able to correct my sons gap without eventually having full set of braces. So it was obvious choice when I took my youngest son there.

Dr. Horner and his team came highly recommended. I had high expectations and they exceeded all of them.

The staff is VERY pushy about scheduling braces and doesn't have any concern as to what it might cost a family. We paid for a treatment plan that was supposed to take a years worth of treatment but after 8 weeks the hardware started to cause a problem. We went in and it was removed and miraculously he no longer needed it. We feel that we paid for something that our child didn't even need.

Dr. Horner was awesome. He patiently listened to all of my concerns and addressed each and every one of them throughout the course of my treatment.
