Great dentist
Not fancy, but is very good at extractions and crowns. And will take state insurance. He can repair teeth that other dentists can't or just won't. Very experienced.

Terrible Experience.
I went in for a chipped tooth, soon after I got an infection and was in the worst pain of my entire life. I ended up getting antibiotics for the infection and the pain went away after 2 weeks. Within the last ~8 month since i saw him, i've had slight pain in that tooth. I now have a severe dental abscess that I cannot get treated, due to him being one, if not the only dentist in the area that accepts my insurance. DO NOT SEE DR. DILLARD IF YOU NEED ANY SORT OF FILLING. I've heard he's decent at cleanings, but he is terrible when it comes to anything serious. I have no idea how he hasn't had his license taken away. He is rude, doesn't tell you what he's doing, and is very rough. I have had multiple fillings over the years and never have i been in so much pain during, or after.

No Pain, Funny, Great Experience
My experience with Dr. Dillard was great. He cleaned my teeth which I was way overdue for a cleaning and no problems at all. He fixed a cavity that I had without having to give me shots and it was painless. It was on the exterior of my tooth. Don't know why others say he was rude, etc. because I didn't see that at all. He was funny, cracking jokes with me while he worked. It was one of the better experiences I have had at a dentist.

Terrible dentist!
The first time I took my granddaughter there he was very rough cleaning her teeth. We made another appointment to come back and have 3 filings. My granddaughter complained for 2 days how her gums and teeth hurt. We went back on our scheduled date and time to find the place closed to mechanical issues. We drove 45 minutes one way to find this out. No one from the office called to cancel. Shame on them! I had to call them 2 days later to reschedule. Well we went today. It was the worse experience I have ever had in a dentist office! My granddaughter is autistic. And I let him know that. You have to explain to her what you are going to do. There was none of that!! She cried the whole time! When the filling were done( very fast and rough) he told us he didn't want us coming back!!! That's ok cause we weren't going to. Terrible dentist! No bedside manners at all. I recommend you stay away!

If I communicated with patients the way this office does I wouldn't have lasted 11 years in the medical field, nor would I have succeeded in legal, or any other field prior to my career change. I tried to give this office a chance despite bad reviews. We had a hard time finding a dentist for my daughter last year. Last week I called the office and left a voicemail at 7AM to cancel my daughter's appointment the day before she was scheduled. That morning I also requested their findings during her visit. I forgot that they cannot send XRays without another dentist's request, but she did send a letter. My phone records show my outgoing call as well as my return call after she left a VOICEMAIL requesting to REPEAT our legally confidential address for her to send the information. I returned her call and gave her the correct info. In return I received a rude letter I have scanned saying it looks like my daughter had never been to the dentist. Will do business elsewhere and stop recommending.

I have been into Dr Dillard 2 times now..No BS Just a GREAT JOB . So happy I found them ! I have had a couple bad experiences with 2 other dentists one bad work and one telling me I needed work I didn't. This office is friendly and honest..Fancy is not always the right answer. I so appreciate the honesty, courtesy and work I had done.

Had a tooth filled there and got a bad infection afterward, to the point that I lost the tooth. Went to see him for a cracked tooth, because I had medicaid and he was only one in town who would see me. Instead of dealing with it he just put a silver cap over it. Well it tipped over underneath, the cap fell off and there was decay underneath. I went elsewhere to deal with that. He was rude and impatient when I had questions. Kids were scared to go to a dentist again after him.

Dr. Dillard is not just a great dentist but also has a good sense of humor. He is professional and really cares about his clients. I travel from Minnesota to go to his office. I highly recommend this experience. Bring the whole family for your dental care. Take care of your teeth. David
