Dr. Kyle Frei, DDS

We had an agreement that when the bill came close to the end of my insurance I would be told. My insurance paid them $4,000 last year. I had no idea the insurance money had run out and I was never told. They did an additional $900 worth of work. I live on food stamps. They offered to write off half of the $900 as though I had $450 to pay after we agreed that they would tell me before I was so much as one penny past my insurance. I was in shock and agreed to pay $75 a month because I couldn't believe it was happening to me. After making the first payment I got a bill for the full $900 along with interest and no record of my payment. They said I signed off on the treatment plan but I never signed off on payment we agreed I would never pay. That's when they got really nasty. I can't remember the last time somebody spoke to me with such disdain and disrespect. I'm suffering from a fatal brain disease that is sensitive to stress and they know it. I guess $4,000 wasn't enough.

I have been going to Dr. Frei's office for almost 10 years. I find his staff professional and courteous. Dr. Frei is always uplifting and professional and I leave his office feeling better than when I go in.

I had a tooth break in half over the weekend and when calling dr. Frei’s office to make an emergency appointment Monday morning I was met with no concern and no resolution. There is no emergency line and calling over the weekend there’s no voicemail or way to contact the dentist outside of regular hours to find out how serious this dental emergency was. They asked if they could schedule an appointment for the next day, and gave me no other option to see another dentist in their office or any short term solution. After expressing concern I needed to find an appointment same day I was met with a cold “okay.” This is not the first experience with their office being impersonal and I’m switch providers and will not be back. Don’t go here if you want someone who cares about your well-being.

I've been going to Dr. Frei for over 18 years and he is extremely professional, fast and thorough dentist. My previous dentist told me I had 3 cavities that need to replaced, I wanted another opinion, went to Dr. Frei he said you have no issues with any of those 3 teeth. That was 18 years ago and all three teeth are still fine, no problems.
