Aggressive and Unprofessional
I have been a patient of Dr. Fox’s office for many years. I have not had any issues with my routine check-ups so I have seen the hygienist primarily and him only briefly. He didn’t strike me as the man I experienced today, but WOW. I was going through a contentious divorce and there was an issue with my insurance for the first time ever. The issue was simple, I changed policies to my own rather than my ex-husband’s. I provided this updated information but apparently it never made it into their system. Instead of calling me, Dr. Fox called my ex-husband. I finally received a bill Friday and called today (Monday). When I made contact to provide my updated insurance information (again) he got on the phone extremely aggressive and accusatory over a $165 bill that 1) I had coverage for, and 2) I was still willing to pay regardless. He berated me on the phone for about ten minutes while I continued to politely interject and tell him I just needed to update my insurance. I’m taken aback.

Dr. Fox was rude and aggressive with me on the phone. He was completely unsympathetic to the fact i was in excruciating pain and needed antibiotics but could not afford to have it pulled yet. He did not write me a script or help me at all.
