Whereas Dr. Pena is an extremely knowledgeable dentist with a very friendly demeanor, to me, it seems his office work tends to follow the more easier cases of fillings and cleaning. Anything ore difficult too often requires heading out to work with a surgeon or other dental expert. In addition, just today, I went to see him on an impacted tooth that he felt need to be removed and was immediately directed to an area oral surgeon. I was not convinced the tooth needed to be removed; however, he discharged me without even so much as temporarily treating and filling the tooth. Very disappointed in what $70 DIDN'T get me and will not be returning. I believe the decision to extract the tooth was made hastily and related to the fact that I don not have dental insurance and planned to pay my bill with cash. Not a very big fan of his approach and would advise otherwise.

I being going to Dr. Pena-Abosaid for several years, and is one of the best decisions of my life. He is very professional as well as his staff.
