Dr. Lina Kim, DDS

I have had several bad experiences with Lina Kim's practice. First, know that you will almost never see Dr. Kim herself, but rather a long line of young, inexperienced, just-graduated dentists. This is normal business for her. I had an expensive crown put in, and it fell off 3 times! The first time, they charged me an extra $180 just to reglue it back on. The second time, the dentist told me it fell off because they failed to scrap off all the old glue so they glued new cement to old cement, which is why the crown fell off again. The third time, they wanted to charge me yet another $100! Even when I complained they refused to reduce or eliminate the charge. I have since spoken to several other dentists and they ALL said they would have re-cemented the crown for free.All this after her office tries to upsell me on numerous cosmetic procedures whenever I went in for cleaning. I'm now convinced that Lina Kim is far more interested in making money than in patient care.

Dr. Kim took over the established practice of Dr. Loren Davis. He always made me feel like he actually cared about my well-being. I don't feel that way anymore. Also, I've been given incorrect information about my financial obligation for what is and isn't covered. This happened over ten years ago and it happened again months ago. Being in the working-class demographic it is very important to get the correct info on the details of what's actually covered. I'm now attempting to pay off a balance for scaling that insurance didn't cover even though they told me it was. Had I known this I'd have not done the scaling and would have taken care of other needs first.

Not good. If it would let me give less than one star I would. Dr Kim put a crown on a tooth that was cracked. The crown was way way larger than any other tooth in my mouth so that not only is that the only spot that my bite hits, thus causing pain, but it also caused all my other teeth to move around and migrate to make space for this gargantuan crown so that I had to get braces to move stuff back into alingment. The crown is still too large and causes inflamation when eating. If you want to actually fix whatever you are suffering from stay away from Dr. Kim she will only make it worse and cause you thousands of dollars in costs to fix her mistakes that she will never acknowledge or attempt to fix. Instead you will hear how it isnt in any way due to her work. Just go somewhere else so that you dont ever have to experience this. The worst dentist I have been to in my life and I am 51.

Arrived 10 minutes early for a cleaning appointment, hygienist arrived 10 minutes late. He proceeded to scrape my teeth, polished them and did not floss between my teeth. Dr. Kim came in for the exam. I told her the bridge she put in 6 months ago did not fit properly. She completed the exam in about 1 minute and proclaimed all was OK and left. She never acknowledged what I said about the bridge. Underwhelmed by the lack of attention and then overcharged for the service. I will never go back.

I wish I could leave a review for their dental services, but this office is so incompetent I've not even been able to schedule an appt. I used the "Request an Appointment" link on their website more than 1 month ago asking for a new patient appt with the hopes of setting up regular, ongoing treatment. No phone call. No email. No text message. Nothing. Not a peep in response. Don't publish a link inviting appt requests if you aren't going to respond. Horrible practice.

Bathroom sink never works, they scheduled me before 6 months and is untrained interns to help out. Never going back
