They provided a supposedly preliminary quote of out of pocket expenses from the insurance for my daughter’s procedure. Was asked to agree to pay any difference after the claim was settled which I did. When the claim settled the amount was ~3x of what was initially quoted. They blamed the insurance, but the insurance verified (twice) the dentist office was never provided with a preliminary quote and the dentist staff estimated the amount on their own using insurance-provided system/guidelines. Dentist staff either miscalculated (incompetence?) or acted willfully (fraud?). They refused to take any responsibility. Be careful of what you sign with them. We were not too happy with the procedure either as tooth fragments were leftover (wisdom teeth extraction) which may have contributed to the painful and long recovery.
