Dr. Lucia Ditch, DDS

The waits to be seen and treated by Dr. Ditch are excessive. Also, I feel like I'm on an assembly line when I visit -- I normally have to wait 20+ minutes in the dental chair one or more times during each visit while she treats patients in other rooms. Finally, her prices are relatively high. Consequently, my wife and I have switched dentists and are much happier with the new one. One final comment -- Dr. Ditch wants to charge me "$24 per x-ray and $.86 per record page" to have my records sent to my new dentist. I don't recall ever having to pay for the transfer of my dental (or any other medical) records, much less paying these prices.

Make sure you check your insurance and bills after you get any services here so you don't overpay like I did! I have had THREE issues with this office, one of which I didn't catch in time and wasted over $100 extra. Not to mention I have wasted 3+ hours of my life getting these charges straightened out. One time is barely tolerable but three times is completely unacceptable. Details begin in paragraph 3 of this review. Why do I go back you ask? The only reason I continue to go back is because Karen is the world's greatest hygienist. Dr. Ditch is really nice and thorough, but the billing has been such a headache that I had to knock them down from 5 stars to 3. There are probably so many people out there who paid these extra charges without looking into them because they were naive and trusting like I was the first time. I decided to try a new dentist after years at the same practice. I found Dr Lucia Ditch on the list within my insurance network. While I was surprised she said I had 7 cavities, she seemed very thorough and I liked her demeanor. I called to get an estimate via email which showed 4 more cavities than she had said during the exam. I decided to get a second opinion. My new dentist says I have two cavities and two cracked fillings. I would hold onto my wallet with this dentist. I don not recommend
