Dr. Mark Spivey, DDS

Went to the same dentist for 35 years. He retired. Searched 6 years for another until I found Dr. Spivey. Been going there for 3 years and totally satisfied with him and his entire staff. The staff has always been gracious and helpful and the doctor is friendly, engaging and efficient.

My wife and I have been going to Dr Spivey for several years. Love the fast cleanings. First additional work I've needed, because I chipped a tooth around a filling from my previous dentist and he explained my options. I agree with him that we should cap it. Anytime you get shots in the mouth it sucks, but there was very little pain and problem quickly solved.

Staff is very unprofessional and rude!

Please DO NOT go to SPIVEY if you are older & told you need to pull all your teeth to get dentures. My Dad was diagnosed with cancer & given 6 months to live, 16 months ago! Praise God he is still with us!!! Only complaint my Dad had was “HIS DENTURES!” NOT HIS CANCER! He struggled with dentures from Spivey for over a year & kept complaining, thinking he still had parts of tooth in gums but Spivey kept telling him nothing was there! Finally after a year of complaining, we went to Aspen Dental. Dr Hill is AWESOME! She felt his gums & immediately took x-rays & showed he had 3 tooth fragments in different areas (one was very large) that were left behind. She got them out & he immediately felt better but the dentures were still uncomfortable. Dr Hill told him the old ones might be ok now & she put a soft lining on them but Dad wanted her to make the new set. New set is AWESOME! He did not trust going back to SPIVEY & SPIVEY did not return my calls after leaving messages.

If I could give no stars I would. He does work on teeth that don’t need it. Causing more damage than need. Years later you realize all the work was bad and you have to get it all redone. Lesson, just because he has a license in dentistry, does not mean he cares about your teeth.

Has expertly and efficiently taken care of mine and my family's dentist needs for over 25 years and is always provides a friendly successful encounter even in unpleasant times.

Terrible manners with patients. He doesn't listens to concerns. Seems to care only about how much work he will be allowed to do on your teeth. He does have plenty pf complaints, and has been reprimanded in the past. Everyone has a entitlement to check up on the history of Dentists. Especially when he is doing work on teeth that dont need to be done.

The office manager and office staff are rude and unprofessional.

His office manager and front staff members are RUDE and unprofessional. I would not recommend this practice to anyone, because of his office manger.

HORROBLE! The last time I was there, the front staff was very rude. I was their last patient and even though I called because I was running a few mins late they told me they had been waiting for me all afternoon and if I did show up within 15 mins they would reschedule. I made it and everyone was in a hurry to leave. they took me for my routine cleaning and it probably took them 10 mins to do it. That was the fastest cleaning I had ever had. As I left, everyone was running out the door.

Disappointing. I do not like his bedside manner he filled my teeth with huge amalgam fillings that caused my teeth to crack
