Dr. Marti Levinson, DDS

I am extremely unhappy with the dental care that I have received from Dr. Levinson and feel strongly that I need not have lost the teeth that I have lost. I was ignored when I pointed out problems.

I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. I've been seeing her for years and she's always been great, friendly and professional. Don't believe the negative reviews. I love her and the staff.

I actually enjoyed my visit. However, even though I was very clear that my insurance would only cover bitewing X-rays, cleaning and exam, they insisted that they do a lot of other X-rays. I said okay only if I was not charged. I asked repeatedly through everything they were doing if I would be charged. Of course, I received a bill. While they finally agreed to remove those charges, they told me to expect charges in the future. I told them if they limit to bite wings, exam and cleaning. They insisted that they had to do this one X-ray at least once a year. It is not necessary unless they see signs of an issue. This is yet another instance where doctors are trying to sell you things that really are not necessary. Greed is overcoming common sense. I will find a dentist who will treat my request with respect and do what I have had done twice a year. Cleaning, exam and bitewings.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Levinson. I was referred to her by another dental expert to repair damage done to my mouth by another dentist. When she found out the dentist who did the damage she refused to treat me. Her alliance was not to me. I certainly was not first as she advertises. There are lots better dentists in Tulsa.

This office performed a root canal and put a crown on a tooth. Shortly after, I switched dentists because of new insurance. Three and a half years later, the crown began chipping and causing pain and problems to the point of needing to get it replaced. Since my crown was only 3 and a half years old, I called to see if they would replace it for me for a lower cost. I was told they would only pay 25% of the replacement, making my cost around $475. I explained the situation to my current dentist, Mint Dental, and they discounted it for me charging me only $150. However, this ended up being just a minor problem compared to what happened next. I just got referred to an endodontist because my new dentist saw what looked like an infection in the end of the root canal of this tooth. The endodontist confirmed the infection and said the root canal would need to be redone in hopes on clearing up the infection. If it doesn't, I will have to have oral surgery and they will go through my gums to cl
