Stay Away! Mary Lou is a con artist! She practices unethical billing practices. At time of visit she charged me $400 on the spot, then submitted a claim to Cigna for $1,391 when the contracted in network rate was $547. Of the $547, Cigna pays $478.90, leaving a balance of $68.10. Office provides zero explanation on the $400 charge and has the nerve to send me another bill for $19, which has an explanation of "balance forward." Stay away from this crook!

I feel taken advantage of by the billing practices of this office. First I wasn't informed that I had a credit balance at the office - no call or statement. Then on multiple occasions what I was charged was over the estimate - the last time 150%, and not all the work that was estimated was performed. When I got home their office called to say the $50 copay I was charged should have been $100, so now it's 200% of estimate. I then checked and my copay is $50 so I made them recheck and I was right.

I absolutely love Dr Pfaffenberger and the people that work here. Truly a top notch dental office with a focus on customer satisfaction. Fantastic. (How often do you hear someone say their dental experience was fantastic?!) This has been the best dental care I've ever experienced in my 49+ years of age. Knowledgeable, painless, efficient, friendly, clean, and exceptional patient care. Highly recommended! Go get your cleaning today!
