Dr. Melinda Blume, DDS

I have tried twice to schedule an appt with this office. The first time, I was told the doctor does not retreat failed root canals done by other doctors. Fine. Fast forward a few months, I am now in need of a root canal on a totally different tooth. I called to make an appointment, and I am told that new patients are booking out 4 months. Fine. So I ask if I can book for 4 months from now and if something opens up maybe I could be squeezed in sooner. NOPE. I was told they are not making appointments for new patients. I am so unsure of how that works but I am so unimpressed with the receptionist who called me back and spoke with me on the phone. I have no idea how doctors offices are allowed to get away with this kind of treatment of people who need their help.

I just came back from a retreatment for a failed root canal done by a different dentist 10 years ago. Dr. Blume was amazing from start to finish. She put me at ease right away with her friendly, calm and pleasant demeanor. I must stay, I didn't feel one ounce of pain throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Blume was gentle, yet meticulous and thorough. I left the office feeling confident that the procedure was successful, and that my choice to use Dr. Blume was an excellent one. Thank you!

Dr. Blume is so pleasant and efficient. This was the first time my daughter ever walked out of a dentist's office smiling and this was after a tough root canal! She really makes her patients feel comfortable and not anxious. Highly recommend

I had a great experience with Dr. Blum. She is very friendly and makes you feel as comfortable as possible through the whole procedure. I saw her for two root canals, one more complicated than the other, and she did a great job on both. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have been seeing Dr.Blume for about 4-5 years now. I can tell you i am a person who has a lot of anxiety and fear to go to the dentist especially for root canals. I can not say enough good things about her. I have never in my life been so calm and looking forward to having a root canal. She literally is the BEST! I travel about 45 minutes to use her and I would travel hours. She is amazing! Talks me through it and i never feel a thing not even the needle. She also has an amazing staff That always tries to accommodate me in the best way possible. Her dental assistant Roma is the best. One of my favorites. They are just the sweetest people and i will never stop using Dr. Blume I give this office five stars across the board no doubts about it

My son had an emergency and Dr. Blume did a wonderful job, putting my son and myself at ease. I found her to be very professional. She explained everything very well. I would recommend her and her staff wholeheartedly.

Dr. Blume, her assistant and her staff are all wonderful. My root canal was painless and the experience was professional. Dr. Blume and her assistant work like a perfect team and make sure you are informed and comfortable. Everyone is helpful and pleasant. I would give them 10* stars if it was possible!

Office staff are extremely rude. Called to make an appointment and was hung up on for no reason when I had some questions.

A special shout out to Darlene for efficiently managing my appointments ( including my emergency appointment) and to Bonnie for physically assisting me with my assistive device and assuring my safety during my appointment . I was referred by my dentist for a root canal. Dr. Blume gave an honest opinion and said that "a root canal is not necessary." She saved me a lot of money, time, and pain. I appreciate her honest, ethical, and clinically-sound decision.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Blume and her staff. Not only is she a great clinician, but a kind, solicitous, intelligent and funny person as well. I went into her office in horrific pain and quite nervous, in anticipation of the procedure and never having been to this office; but I actually left smiling and without any pain! (And my case was particularly difficult) I am exceedingly grateful. If you need endodontic services, this is definitely the place to go. And she takes insurances other practitioners refuse. This shows the high level of concern Dr. Blume has for her patients, which exceeds by far, the singular desire to just earn an income.
