It appears that this dentist is only interested in their practice's revenue stream and cash flow. They are always too eager to be overly aggressive with treatment before they verify the patient's insurance coverage. Unfortunately, I and my wife were persuaded into x-rays and treatment before the expense was verified and confirmed with my insurance company, costing us over $700 of premature treatment. Recommend not using this dentist. They are other very good and more conscientious dentists avail

I went to Dr. McCarthy because of his high rating on Healthgrades. That rating is fully deserved. I recently moved to the area and felt it unlikely I'd find a dentist as good as my last. I was happy to discover I was wrong. Dr. McCarthy is clearly intelligent, a great communicator, informative without being condescending and has a friendly, approachable bedside manner. It is nice to feel you are in capable, caring hands. Really, as good as health professionals come!
