Dr. Michael Oakes, DMD

I don't worry about unnecessary costly procedures with Dr. Oakes. I've had a couple of bad experiences in town with bad advise and costly referrals.I feel fortunate to have discovered his practice. Plus the office takes care of my insurance needs unlike the other offices that left me to figure it out on my own.

I've always been totally uncomfortable about going to the dentist.... My first visit was comfortable with him and I have been his patient now for 14 years

I have been a patient of Dr Oakes for many years and have always been happy with the care I have received. All the staff are friendly, hardworking and very professional. Any nerves that need to be settled are easily alleviated and addressed before procedures are done. My family has been coming to this office since childhood and have never had a negative experience. I would highly recommend them!

We have different dental coverage that necessitated a switch outside of our HMO. I basically pulled Dr. Oakes' office out of the proverbial hat. They accommodated our need to be scheduled quickly, treated the children gently, were very patient and flexible since my cleaning took longer than the kiddos' did and I forgot the movie on the counter (oops!), and in general demonstrated compassion and experience. I hate dental xrays, but they did their best to move quickly and minimize my discomfort.

We had Dr oaks, started out great. Root canal for me 2014 (had it yanked out 2015) infected. Husband got dentures, ( don't fit) has to get new ones. Insurance changed, no one in office notified us until his teeth were done. Now in collection because of them not doing their job. Unhappy
