Dr. Michele Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Nguyen is an amazing doctor, five stars are not enough, I give 10 stars. April 2024, I was referred by my dentist to see an Endodontist for a root canal . I had a large painless boil on my right upper gum. My general dentist said the boil was no big deal, but for me it was because it was there for months. I was concerned about this boil on my upper gum and at times I felt fatigue. My face was not swollen but I noticed an odor at times. I found Dr Nguyen office on Montague Street and made an appointment. The staff excellent. I got an appointment in 2 days as an emergency. Dr Nguyen, was polite, good listener, caring and a very skilled root canal specialist. She found an infection in my tooth, gum and the floor of my tooth was cracked. She treated the infection immediately but could not save the tooth. Dr. Nguyen treatment was painless. I was referred to a dental surgeon for tooth extraction immediately. I feel 100% better! Thank you! Dr. Nguyen and staff!

I went to Dr. Nguyen somewhat by accident, as my dentist had referred me to a colleague in her office, but that colleague did not take insurance and Dr. Nguyen (pronounced like "Win") does. So I tried her and she was great (as was the staff at Endodontic Associates). She first listened to my story, then clearly and thoroughly explained my options, including the benefits and drawbacks of each (3D X-ray or not? Implant or bridge? Etc.) When she examined my teeth she told me in advance what she was about to do, step by step. At the end she shared suggestions for an oral surgeon or periodontist. Dental appointments are not my favorite thing but this one was among the best I've had.
