Dr. Michelle Zmick, DDS

Wouldn’t recommend. Poor bed-side manner. Lacked empathy. Seemed rushed. Barely had Q-tip with numbing cream out of my mouth before she abruptly started injections to numb in various spots. No warning and had a mask as a blindfold on me so I had no way of knowing when she was starting. Began using instruments or drilling almost immediately after first injections without checking or asking if i was even numb yet. Just told me to raise my hand if i could feel anything. Didn’t give brief overview of what was about to happen or possible symptoms afterwards. Before starting she did ask if i had any questions, but that’s basically assuming I knew what was about to take place or had dental implants before. When I did ask a question about another tooth problem I was having, her response was very patronizing and condescending. Her rushed and aggressive nature made me very tense and nervous and she did not seem at all caring about the level of pain I was in during or afterwards. Insensitive.

I have undergone several gum tissue grafts from Dr. Zmick over the years and have had successful results every time. I have been fighting gum recession for years and Dr. Zmick has been crucial in this fight. She has always provided clear detailed written instructions for post-operative care after oral surgery. She provided me with her contact information, including her cell phone number, in case of problems after surgery. I was so fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Zmick by my dentist.

Very rough and insensitive. Doesn't explain anything but expects you to just know what's going on.
