Do not recommend
If you have anxiety about dentists, or a phobia of needles, or if you are looking for quality personalized care, I do not recommend Dr. Monique Braatz.During two appointments to place a crown, Dr. Braatz was extremely rushed and heavy-handed. I did not feel like a person, but a number, despite explaining to her that I had dentalwork anxiety and a phobia of needles. During my second visit, she did not leave the numbing gel on long enough to properly numb the area, so the needle caused a great deal of unnecessary anxiety and discomfort. To make matters worse, I am unhappy with the crown. It looks nothing like the tooth it replaced - the size and shape are all wrong. If she wasn't so rushed and had bothered to show me the tooth in the mirror before cementing it in, I would have rejected it and asked for a replacement. Now, $1000 later, I'm stuck with a tooth that I hate, and it shows in my smile. 2 stars for on-time appointments and a clean office, 0 stars for Dr. Braatz.
