I love the gentle way she handles me as a patience that is scared of the dentist and everything about it. Never had I seen a dentist with care and concern for my wellbeing and I appreciate that so much how she puts me at ease before the work begins. Love Dr. Makhene-Deloach and Katrina because this duo is the best.

Dr. Makhene-Deloach is very professional and has a great personality. She explains everything and will put you at ease. She is good at what she does. My kids and I have been coming to her for years and will continue to do so.

Katrina, Dr. Maotsbi Mahkena Deloach's assistant is very inconsiderate and unprofessional. On multiple occasions we have scheduled appointment to learn that the appointment was never put on the calendar. My husband needs to see the dentist to be cleared for a transplant. We have spoken to the office and left messages. To which Katrina said she would call us back to come in within the week. She didn't call and we were unable to reach her. When my husband got through to her in January she scheduled us for April. We walked in early March to see if we can get sooner appointments to learn she never scheduled the April appointments she gave us. After some Advocacy based on the time sensitive nature of his appointment for today March 23, 2024. I reminded her that there was more than 1 Xavier Preston to please make sure it is the right one. She was brushing me off politely. I reminded her and she nodded. Today we learned she scheduled a different person by the same name. She also called my husbands Xwife which is a HIPPA violation, who canceled the appointment. We learned this 3 hours before his appointment. She could have rescheduled the person she erroneously gave his appointment too. Instead she gave me attitude, cut us off while we were speaking and hung up the phone. My husband is sitting in the car upset because this is one of the milestones he has to complete to get on the kidney transplant list. They are aware and do NOT care. In addition, her attitude and disregard did nothing positive for his blood pressure. Katrina lacks the compassion, respect and professionalism to work in the medical field.

I have tried for a month to get an appointment. It took 2 weeks to get a response after I left a phone message and that was an email asking for my insurance info. I promptly replied and gave the background of the issue explaining the pain I was in and NOTHING! Two weeks later and I just tried to call and got the machine. I don't care how goid they are, if you can't get an appointment.

Dr Makhene is a hidden gem an well kept secret in Oxon hill, Md.I’m so glad me an my wife found her.My first visit she was 1st class professional in greeting me an listening, to my exam to taking care of my painful toothache in an instant without causing me any more pain.Also recommendation was spectacular an her office was very nice an receptionist Tracy was also so professional an welcoming.Me an My wife have been spoiled in only a couple of visits,Highly recommended even though we want to keep them all to ourselves!!

She is a caring , patient and gentle dentist. I never felt the needle she used to numb my mouth.

I've never met a dentist that can give me a shot in my mouth and it doesn't hurt you. This is an excellent dentist with great chair side manners.
