Dr. Nathaniel Redmond, DMD

Has taken over 5 years to get my all on 6 plate adjusted and now he has ground down the teeth so short I will be chewing on gums instead of teeth. He talks too fast and works too fast and sloppy. He tells you things that are not true. I drove over for appt to get x-rays since I have been chronically sick and missed several cleanings, The nice lady said come at 1 and they will do x-rays only since they didnt have a full time hygienist. Drove 45.5 miles one way and the front desk lady said I didn’t have an appt.We had just spoken with a lady that said to come. We went out the door and was chased by the nice lady from the phone call, she said come back in and get x-Ray done. Went inside and Redmond said they didn’t do x-rays on Wednesday’s. The nice lady just looked at Dr Redmond. My wife had x-rays done the previous Wednesday? He said come back next week. We have been traveling 45.5 miles for over 5 years trying to get 6 implants (done by another dentist that only comes in to do implants) Dr Redmond was in charge of the implant plate. The last and final time I went in December I went in for a loose crown and to get implant plate adjusted for the 20th time. This is when he quickly drilled all the teeth away on the front of plate and just left gums. He told me to come back the next week to get the lose crown fixed. I was afraid it was going to break off but he said just wait it was too hard to remove. We won’t be making that 45.5 mile one way trip again. By the way, he said he was retiring and closing his office?? Another lie. God bless this man, he has major problems!

On August 29th, 2024, I went in for general cleaning. I arrived ten minutes before my scheduled appointment. I noticed that everyone who came in after me was called to the back. After waiting for over 45 minutes, I asked the very polite receptionist how long it would be before I was called back. After she checked with the hygienist, she informed me that it would be about ten more minutes. I was called back after 20 minutes. The hygienist greeted me and asked how I was doing. I stated that I didn't know that my visit would take so long. Boy, what did I say that for? She asked me if I wanted to reschedule and started to talk to me about what to expect whenever I go to a doctor's office. She was very demeaning. After informing her that I didn't need her to reprimand me for expressing how long my wait time was. I told her that I was not going to allow her to clean my teeth because I didn't feel comfortable with her, and I left three messages for Dr. Redmond.

I’ve been Dr. Redmond’s patient since he first started his practice in Moody. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! He’s so kind and honest with everyone and does excellence work. He’s awesome!

When I first went to Dr Redmond at his office in Hoover I was so scared my teeth were so bad in the front I never smiled bc of my teeth . After talking with Dr Redmond I decided to get dentures at the age of 25 I was so scared and nervous but after he was done and I got my temp dentures I can't stop smiling I love my new smile I'm so happy I don't remember the last time I smiled this much thank you so much . I highly recommend him . Best prices and best service you will ever find .

My wife and I have been with Dr Redmond for years with zero complaints. He is a good dentist and a great person at explaining what needs to be done and then getting it done. His staff and trained and do a great job at making you feel at home and taken care of.
