Dr Star was referred to me by one of the most respected dentists in Maryland. Having poor dentistry from age 13 where teeth were pulled unnecessarily, it has been an uphill battle since. I had invested a fortune and to no avail was desperate for a once and for all ,well regarded conscientious prosthodontics practitioner . The dentist that referred me said“there is only one person I would recommend he is the “BEST of Best in the DMV. “ That he is!Dr Star is a perfectionist and an artist that understands the importance of having a healthy mouth but takes pride in creating a beautiful smile. He created a treatment plan and is very transparent sharing next steps .I was pleasantly surprised by his delightful chair side manner. His staff has been with him for 20 plus years and are a true reflection of his character . Yes, I recommend Dr Star and his staff!

Initially, Dr Starr replaced my front crowns, after I interviewed two other, top rated prosthodontists in DC. This was after having been with my previous dentist since I was in middle school. Dr Starr was, without question, the most thorough of the three prosthodontists that I interviewed. Before replacing my front crowns, he suggested I should have gum surgery, both upper and lower, which I did. He has been my dentist ever since and I can’t imagine using anyone else.

Dr. Starr is an elite dentist who does shabby prosthetic dental work. I had a dental prosthetic crafted by him, which was all I needed. I paid hundreds of dollars, only for the prosthetic to break TWICE. Initially he RUDELY and shabbily repaired it. He seemed as if he couldn't be bothered. His response was "its temporary" duh. Broke again. He said "take your busines elsewhere." Wanted me to spend thousands on his implants. NEVER. He's an elitist and classist who performs unreliable work.

Dr. Starr is superb. I have been seeing him for a number of years for general prosthodontic care. He is very thorough. He listens and explains procedures very well. I saw him twice this year in addition to the regular checkup. He corrected a serious mistake another dentist had made. Dr. Starr's solution totally resolved my problem. In addition, I saw him for what seemed might be an expensive gum repair. His successful solution was both simpler and much less expensive than I had anticipated.
