Dr. Nelson Deleon, DDS

I know Dr. Deleon as a friend. I consulted with him for a 2nd opinion on some dental procedures I was considering. I eventually switched to his clinic as his opinion made sense. After my first dental visit, I found him to be very professional, thorough and honest. There was no pro bono work done so this visit was purely professional and not "a buddy hooking me up." He was straight forward about which procedures were optional and which one's were medically necessary. Cost covered by insurance versus out-of-pocket expenses were also discussed. I did have some out-of-pocket cost but several options were given to me to minimize cost. I never felt pressured or "oversold on certain services." Overall, I had a great experience and continue to see him for all my dental needs.

I have seen Dr. Nelson Deleon, DDS on two different occasions and have been pleasantly surprised at how calm I was--- I got a molar extracted and two crowns and there was no pain!!! He is a wonderful dentist with a calm nature which seemed to settle me down, since I tend to be nervous, and uncomfortable in any dentist chair!!! This guy is a keeper-----so I'm telling EVERYONE to go see him!!!

Good things: Easy to schedule appointments; very pleasant staff and good bedside manner Not so good things: Too many strange billing items that turned out not to be covered by insurance. Getting a second opinion is recommended, as some procedures were deemed unnecessary by other dentists.
