Dr. Nelson Diers, DDS

The sample size on Google is larger and more reflective of Dr Diers and his staff. This man is still passionate (as is the staff) about improving patients quality of life. The man could have chosen a lot of things to do in life, how ever, fortunately for myself and others he chose this path. At the time of this review I am approximately 9 months into the treatment plan. Including the preliminary fact finding and laying out the plan, I have easily had over a dozen appointments. Giving me a good personal sample size to form my opinion.We all are certainly entitled to our own opinions. And the nature of those opinions are they probably are not all going to be correct. Had to chuckle at the review on Google that panned the good doctor for suggesting the patient tape their mouth shut. I had to wrap my head around the thought and default to “In Dr Diers, I Trust.” And guess what, for me, it took care of the issue.

I struggled with TMJ for years. It came to a point where every single day was a struggle. I had trouble opening and closing my mouth and could not eat a lot of foods as chewing caused intense pain. I had a lot of pain in my jaw and ears, hearing loss, and many other symptoms. My dentist referred me to Dr. Diers. He was knowledgeable and took the time to listen to all my symptoms and review my history. I was fitted for an appliance to wear. Within a month my symptoms started improve. A year later, I am so happy. I can eat granola again, pain free! I’m no longer in pain (which is a huge improvement). My hearing is improving, I can open and close my mouth easily, my jaw line is no longer crooked. I feel so much better. I’ve spoken to others who have suffered with TMJ and they have drove as far as Michigan to receive similar TMJ treatment. Too bad they did not know about Dr. Diers. I would and have recommended him to everyone who will listen.

Dr Diers' is a a very good Orthodontists. He constantly is educating himself with the latest techniques. He recognizes the effects of a narrow upper palate, with the narrow airway dimension. My Daughter had treatment with a "Palatal Expander for Sleep Apnea issues". She never slept very well, she tossed and turns in bed all night long, some bed wetting, hard to get up in the morning, some ADHD like symptoms and having difficulty focusing in school. After a couple of months expanding her narrow upper arch palate she is doing so much better "Neurocognitively " in all aspects. "I am so happy with the results", I wish everyone could learn about this with children that have some of the same issues. I am very grateful with Dr. Diers's office and his team!

WATCH YOUR CREDIT CARDS AND WALLET. they all but tackle you to the ground when you walk in. I've felt safer walking down back alleys at night. over charging, not in network with Delta dental (although they swear you will be paid back), and the dds didn't even see me before he came in the room with a plan in place to fix me. I am not the only person who this has happened to, they just are good at hiding bad reviews because they have separate locations and each one has its own "review " section. This place is an absolute scam and just out to get Money

Office staff is rude, does not relay information to parents. Unable to schedule appointments within a timely manner. My daughter has been in her braces almost a year longer than he had told us.
