Excellent. Retreat of an ancient root canal on a tooth at the back of the mouth. No pain after Novocaine wore off.

I saw Dr. Yamaki earlier today for a root canal. He is not only a great dentist but also a nice person. I have been to him several years ago and always felt like I was in good hands. And his staff are exceptionally nice. I would definitely recommend this practice.

This dentist is simply incompetent. For a simple root canal he proceeded with no less than 11 injections and kept working basically without anesthesia because he could not perform a normal anesthesia He also built up the tooth in a way that cut my inner cheek This left me with a traumatized jaw and a condition called trismus and 6 weeks later I can not open my mouth normally

Dr. Yakaki is simply the best. I have been seeing Dr. Yamaki for my dental care since 2018. Dr. Yamaki’s caring attitude and genuine concern is always most touching. He often has to do some other tests like Xray etc. for me on the same visit and the staff there is very prompt and helpful in making sure that everything goes smooth. His knowledge and performance of the procedure is incredible and that make me very comfortable & relieved. Early part of this year I had to choose between retreatment of RCT or Apicoectomy. He resolved my concerns / problems with his treatments and education. I certainly would want all my family & friends to receive care at his Scarsdale office.

I would refer ANYONE to Dr. Yamaki. My dentist referred me to him for a root canal. Being his specialty, he was able to look at my X-ray and know the tooth could not be saved. Dr. Yamaki saved me from having a root canal, paying for a root canal and he might have saved me - period. He said I was in an emergency situation because the tooth infection had spread to my jaw and locked it. He had seen patients with this reaction and the infection spread to their throat, locking their muscles so they couldn't breathe. It was after 4:00, yet he HIMSELF called and got me an emergency appointment FOR THE NEXT DAY with one of the top endodontists in the area. Two weeks later I'm completely healed, stitches out, zero pain. Dr. Yamaki is my hero.
