As parents we need to advocate for our children, we felt that our child was still suffering from a lip tie. Needed to get a second opinion and sure enough another revision was required. Instead of getting an apology or refunded for an expensive procedure that did not fix the problem we got an email telling us that other places that complete revisions will just revise anything. As parents we explained that there was noticeable issues with our child's latch, again were discarded. Very disappointed, do not take your child to this office you will be regret it as we do.

Not one to write reviews, but this needed to be shared. This was a terrible experience from start to finish. My son was address by another child's name prior to his revision. Later on we received a bill with that same incorrect name. We were denied a specific area for revision due to not meeting her qualifications of " restricting function". However, post two revisions my son continued to have a crest within chin causing lower jaw retraction, leaking while feeding, and clicking at the bottle ( weeks after her revision ). We had a second opinion and there was a noticeable mandibular labial tie that needed to be released just as we had been saying for weeks. Now our son has to suffer through months of additional exercises and have his sleep schedule frequently interrupted. DO NOT GO HERE

Absolutely not! June 2, 2020 I went back to Dr. Prather because a crown she recently installed had fallen off. They would not look at the tooth unless I paid $70 before examining the problem for "X-rays". Not only did she refuse to fix her shoddy work unless we paid another $1,100 - which she wanted up front because our insurance would not pay for it a second time - she said there would be additional work to 'trim the gum line'. This was all B.S. Then the billing fraud started. They submitted the appointment I paid for to my insurance and were paid a second time for this bogus appointment. Recommend you not go here unless there is no other Dentist in Tennessee! Today I brought it to their attention and was told they did me a "favor" submitting it to the insurance. Perfectly happy to commit fraud and collect twice. We went to our regular dentist and the extra work was unnecessary, and they fixed it right. Had it done right for less than Dr. Prather. :-(

I would agree with the ones questioning her billing practices. We switched dentists when she deceptively failed to inform us that she was no longer in network and then billed us for regular exams that were $0 deductible under our BCBS insurance. I have spent months going back and forth with their billing service proving that they owed us money rather than vice versa. Several times we had to chase refunds when they had over estimated prepayments on services. Four months after I thought they had gotten the message that they had best call it even, we received yet another bill in the mail from them today.

Dr. Prather and her whole staff were absolutely amazing with my little one, she already had him calm when i came in the room, the procedure didn’t take long at all he was a little fussy after but we did the oils they recommended and we are on day two starting stretches and back he’s doing so good. I’m pleased with her and her staff they are very caring and compassionate.

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful even after you leave their office.

Dr. Prather’s office is wonderful. Our son had to have lip and tongue tie release. The staff was very transparent about what to expect and clearly listed the requirements. After our consultation, they allowed us some time to discuss if this was feasible for us. After having the procedure, Dr. Prather was very accommodating with any questions or concerns we had. We appreciate her patience, compassion, and guidance.

Dr. Prather and her staff were so thorough and accommodating. They understand as parents what you are going through gave us so much support and helpful information. I would send anyone to them. I am so grateful for their help and guidance. Our sons ties were fixed beautifully.

My husband and I took our son to see Dr. Prather for a consultation for tongue and lip ties. We were impressed with her knowledge and expertise. She demonstrated nothing but respect and professionalism with our concerns and has provided great care to our son. I definitely recommend her to anybody who has concerns about ties.

Dr. Prather D.D.S., is very precise, an expert in her field, my experience with my implant process could have been horrible but the Doctor makes it pleasant and educational when problem solving for final solution. I look forward to my next visit.

This was the final step in a long process of a new implant. Dr. Prather and the staff were great and very patient with me. The length of the process was due to the fact that I was having a hard time healing caused by a kidney problem of which I was unaware. It also damaged my face of the side of my implant due to two falls. Thanks to Dr. Prather and the staff, they were GREAT for putting up with me and my problems.

From the moment I called Dr. Prather’s office I felt listened to, heard and safe. They walked us through every step of our babies tongue tie issues and the revision was so short!! They did an excellent job at comforting our baby and we overall had an amazing experience!

Everyone was super welcoming. Dr. Prather was also very knowledgeable about the tongue and lip tie that I had so much confidence in her and what needed to be done for our little boy. She and her fellow dental assistant were able to answer all our questions and concerns and show us exactly what we needed to do for the after care. The environment was clean and welcoming. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who needed to get a lip and tongue tie procedure done.

My daughter had upper lip, tongue, and double buccal lip ties. After visiting multiple offices for my daughter with no answers or peace of mind we were referred to Dr. Prather. The office staff and Prather herself were absolutely amazing! It was so nice to finally talk with someone who knew what they were talking/looking at! She knew what we were going through before we even told our side of the story. Dr. Prather was amazing as well as everyone in her office. I highly recommend her!!

Checkup went great! Dr Prather is the best.. Chelsea is an awesome hygienist along with the entire staff.

My 5yo son had his lip and tongue tie revised. Our whole experience with Chelsea and Dr. Prather and her staff was wonderful. We had 4 weeks of myofunctional therapy prior to the surgery and after surgery and even though we had to make 40 minutes drive each way, it was worth it. My son healed up wonderfully and the best part is that he sleeps better, without his tongue hanging out of his mouth and snoring. I’m so glad we trusted Dr. Prather and her staff. They took their time in helping us and answered all questions we had. I highly recommend Dr. Prather.
