Dr. Paul Gilliam, DDS

We went to Dr Gilliam after being referred to by a friend. I asked twice if our insurance was covered, since we are allotted one free Xray and cleaning each year. I was told yes it was with no other stipulations or questions. We received a bill 7 months later for over $400 and told that they didn't take our particular coverage. It also was the FIRST bill we received and it warned that we were about to be sent to collections. No phone calls or bills previously. When we called the office manager rudely told us it was up to us to know our insurance. I will own that we shouldn't have taken them at their word after asking twice, and handing them our dental medical cards. We now have a bill for something that would have been covered. Dr Gillam didn't clean our teeth so I can't review his service. The woman who cleaned our teeth was friendly and got the job done.
