Dr. Philip Fabel, DDS

Dr. Fabel is a horrible dentist. I came in to have a cracked tooth filled and during the procedure he drilled right into my tooths nerve root. Instead of admitting his mistake(his assistant also noticed this happening), he inserted "temporary packing" and had me return days later. When I returned, he joked that "he was surprised I didn't come back sooner saying I was in pain"and he filled in the tooth.Problem is it was already too late as he had damaged the nerve causing an infection which he not only overlooked but sealed off via filling. This infection turned into an abscess that ultimately caused me to see a maxillofacial surgeon to have the entire tooth removed.He retired shortly after this incident. I should have sued him for malpractice just like he had been in 1996. I believe he was beyond his ability to perform his practice and I was his example for exiting the business.
