Dr W impressed me in every way, and I left understanding what had been done, knowing the work was done well, and confident in the after care required. Dr. W's incompetence ended up costing me more money & a month long ordeal. I was referred for a root canal & Dr. W agreed it was necessary. I made an appt. for the following week. When I returned for my procedure, I had facial swelling & a lump under my gum. Dr. W misdiagnosed me with a sinus infection and sent me home w/antibiotics and w/o doing a root canal. I then saw 3 docs including an oral surgeon who all said I didn't have a sinus infection. My tooth had abscessed which was causing both the lump under my gum & facial swelling. The oral surgeon reviewed the x-rays done by Dr. W and determined I never had a sinus infection and that I should have had a root canal. He referred me to an endodontist who did a root canal the next day & my symptoms disappeared. Dr. W made an incredibly rookie mistake - the facial swelling, lump under my gum, & reduced tooth pain were classic signs of a dying & abscessed tooth and I needed a r.c. He even refused to refund the consultation fee I paid him.
