Dr. Phillip Drlicka, DDS

I have been using Dr Drlicka for five years or more. I always look forward to going because everyone is always so wonderful!

This dentist does not provide services covered by most insurance policies. They do not offer amalgam fillings, which are covered by your policy. They will use composite fillings without letting you know that your insurance will not cover the amount stated on you policy (ie. 80%). They will bill you for the difference. I had two fillings that cracked in my back two teeth. I chose to receive NO2 gas at a charge of $56 (which was pretty high). They estimated I would have to pay $164 which would cover my copay ($50) the gas and my 20% of the fillings. I payed the $164 in the office but later received a bill for $130 more due to the insurance not covering the composite fillings. They also took a photo of my tooth that was not covered by insurance and charged $20 for the photo, which wasn't necessary. So my insurance payed a total of $216 and I was charged a total of $294. Also, Lori, the receptionist is extremely rude and is not knowledgeable of what is covered by insurance policies.

Dr. Drlicka and his staff exceeded my expectations during each of my three visits over a one month period. Dental Assistants Jessica and Crystal were courteous, professional and gentle, yet thorough, from x-rays through expertly assisting Dr. Drlicka's skilled hands in replacing failed fillings and preparing/installing a much needed crown. Hygienist Michelle worked carefully and gently to provide me a very thorough cleaning & polishing. Finally, Laurie and Christy in the front office were very courteous in scheduling my appointments and answering my questions, as well as processing my insurance coverage and sorting out my portion of the balance due. Even though I am a new patient, I felt respected as a valued customer by every member of this highly effective dental team! Overall, the least unpleasant experience I've had with any dentist in decades, which is to sincerely say: The best experience!!

It was a routine cleaning. The ladies did a great job. Dr Drlicka is very nice dentist. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good dentist.

Love this place! Been a patient for 9 yrs and drive from Nine Mile rd. Drlicka and everyone very professional, helpful and fun!

I was very upset by a personnel. They were supposed to call me back with decision and they never did until I called and left a message. Later I found out that they submitted a plan to my insurance on the decision which has never been agreed with me and I have to wait another month! I called back but received a cold respond! Very unacceptable attitude!!!!

I have received an Excellent service from Dr. DRlicka and his team for fourteen years now. From minor to very complicate problems... He is an Excellent Doctor and Person. DR. DRlicka is Always there when I need him. I highly recommend him and his crew. They are all Very professional with excellent communication skills and very caring.
