Great experience
Recently underwent a combination of wisdom tooth extraction and coronectomies. Dr. Preceruti thoroughly and clearly explained the procedures, the rationale behind their selection, and what to expect from start to finish. His demeanor was that of a consummate professional, reflecting his many years of experience, seriousness of purpose, radiating from a core of humane empathy.

Last year I went for a consult for a large jaw Bone cyst. Upon review of my x-ray he told me that he wouldn’t touch this and that I needed to go in a hospital setting where there was a residency program in case my jaw fractured during the procedure requiring reconstruction. . He frightened me . I asked him who he could recommend and he said I’d have to go to maybe New York City , Boston and there was no one he could recommend. He told me I should’ve taken care of this 20 years ago when I never even had it 20 years ago. I left the office freaked out and I called the hospital out of town near Syracuse and almost proceeded to make plans to go there. Luckily my dentist told me I probably saw the wrong guy. HE was the wrong guy and this is a common procedure for which he was obviously not skilled to do. You would think an oral surgeon would do a common procedure such as this. He was rude and unprofessional. Fortunately I found a wonderful oral surgeon who did it without complications.

Dr. Preceruti is possibly the most rude, uncaring doctor ever . It was difficult to get an appt. without referrals and X-rays from our general dentist. When we arrived they just made us get x rays again. Dr. Preceruti then refused to do the surgery saying it shouldn't have been referred. My question is why hadn't our case been reviewed & this determination made before we drove 1hr each way to be seen. He ended our short conversation by saying "I have to go, I have real surgeries to do."
