Dr. Randolph Alexander, DDS

I'm a TV news reporter for a local station in San Diego. I first went to Dr. Alexander when I was 10 years old for braces and retainers. I still wear my retainers to this day which have lasted 10 plus years. I went to him recently to get new retainers and he's the only orthodontist I've met in the country that makes retainers that can move shifted teeth without doing something drastic like jaw surgery or shaving your teeth down. Dr. Alexander is friendly, personable and an expert in the field. My smile is one of my favorite features that I'm most proud to show off and it's all thanks to Dr. Alexander. I feel confident, love my straight teeth and would never go anywhere else--no matter where I live in the country. He is THE best and I 10/10 recommend!

Dishonesty is the way this office operates. His “lovely” wife is his office secretary and she has to be one of the most condescending people I have ever met. They use intimidation to get more money. I was younger at the time and actually brought my father along because I was so uncomfortable discussing the money they basically stole from me in unnecessary procedures and X-rays. I hate this this place and I would never recommend it to anyone!

Do NOT go to this office. Not only will you wait 20-45 minutes after your appointment to even been taken to the back but you will also pay so much in hidden fees that are not described to you at the beginning of treatment (cancelled appointment fees, final records fees, broken bracket fees, extended treatment fees). They will keep you in treatment as long as they can get money from you or your insurance. Pay attention to the way the doctor's wife bills the insurance!

I was referred to dr. Alexander by a co worker after I had complained about no one wanting to help me w my teeth after seeing other orthodontists. Well he did it! He fixed my smile, I thanked him and left on w my business. After getting married and having babies, 7 years later I'm bringing my daughter here now (she got my teeth??). I've never forgotten them and remembered how kind and compassionate this office is. I hope he never ever leaves, he's one of a kind.
