Dr. Reed Ference, DDS

His periodontal surgery in 1998 worked so well that my husband never had another issue. He goes regularly to Dr Ference's office for special cleaning and always finds the people there competent and very pleasant.

My wife and I both came to Dr. Ference last summer with serious periodontal issues. He recommended something called LANAP, Laser surgery to treat Periodontitis. It seemed too good to be true. No cutting away of the gums to reduce the infected "pockets", no stiches. We had quite a few sixes and sevens and I even had a nine (pocket depth). I previously had regular gum surgery and dreaded the idea of having my gums cut back again and exposing even more of the teeth roots. But with LANAP the gums would actually heal and grow back around the teeth, eliminating the deep pockets and restoring healthy gums. We went ahead with the LANAP and Dr. Ference did a great job. Very little discomfort and a few months later infection gone and a mouth full of ones, twos and threes. All good! It's hard to believe the gums grew back, but, they certainly did. Can't thank Dr. Ference enough for the wonderful job he did for us both. The whole experience with his team was Very Rewarding.

I don't doubt that Dr. Ference is skilled at what he does. However, he is rude and belittling. Weeks after my appointment I am still upset at the way he treated me. I have a family member who also went to him and had the same experience. Unfortunately he seems to be one of those doctors who thinks he is godlike and above all of his patients - who are only coming to him because they are trying to take care of their health the best they can. It's unacceptable to treat people that way. It's unfortunate too, because his hygienists and the rest of the staff are all very, very nice.

I am always happy to come here. It is always a very good and healing experience. Dr. Ference took my teeth from 6 and 7 pockets to 1 and 2, and his staff is totally exceptional. I look forward to a long continued relationship with Dr. Ference's practice, and I would gladly recommend him to any family or friend.

Total fantastic experience Dr Ferrance and entire team. Outstanding quality, follow-up and total management and outcome. Could not ask for better. Will continue absolutely if any future need and completely recommend to ant patient. Family has also had five star experience here.

This is my third implant and I could not be happier with the out come! For this recent implant, I was on a tight schedule to get the work done before leaving for a trip. Dr. Ference and his staff were terrific. They scheduled everything perfectly and the recovery went very smoothly.

I will never be able to express my gratefulness enough to Dr. Reed Ference for his and the entire amazing, comforting and knowledgeable staff. I had the most worrisome situation with a massive infection in multiple teeth that spread to my face and getting worse by the day until Dr. Ference without knowing me, opened his office on a day closed to help me in my emergency crisis and pain I was in. I was terrified about what could have been, but he is a true hero to me as from day one he aggressively treated the infection and after several visits was able to use his expertise to clear it up and proceed with a healthy mouth again adding bone graft and carefully placing implants successfully so I may once again feel like I have an exceptional healthy mouth, gums and teeth. my first dental implant was done eighteen years ago by doctor ference. I never had one problem with this procedure. in 2018 i needed two more implants. I never thought for one minute to find any other periodontist. perfect job on all three implants. best periodontist in this area. also a great and friendly staff

A highly competent and skilled Dr. with excellent communication skills. He fully explained my options and the the chosen implant process. The implant surgery proved to be essentially painless. I had no need for any pain meds at all following surgery.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Ference and staff to anybody needing the services of a periodontist.

The visit went very well with minimal discomfort and I never experienced pain after procedure.

I've went to Dr. Ference for gum surgery a year ago and then, just this month, to have a tooth extracted and replaced with an implant. Didn't experience any pain either time...not during the surgery or afterwards. Didn't even need an Advil. He explains everything really well, his follow-up after surgery is excellent, and he even gives you his home phone number and cell number should you have any problems or questions (I didn't need to call, but it was a nice touch). He really knows his stuff!

With 80 years experience with dentists, Dr. Ference was the most efficient and the entire staff was also.
