Dr. Robert Friedman, DDS

I visited Dr. Friedman's office today for a cleaning. Mind you, I was a patient of his for many years, but had not been there in 3 years because Dr. Friedman referred me to another doctor to do my Orthodontist work which took about 2 years. Today, I was greeted by a "receptionist" who was very incompetent and kept asking me the same question 3 times. When her co-worker tried to tell her she was asking me the wrong question, the receptionist just huffed and gave me a paper about the COVID19 virus. SHE NEVER TOOK MY TEMPERATURE!!!!! Every doctor's office I have visited since the quarantine was lifted has taken my temperature. Dr. Friedman is very old and I believe has difficulty with his vision. He was wearing these magnigfying glasses and still could not see well enough to clean my teeth. IT WAS THE WORST CLEANING I HAVE EVERY HAD. I could see and feel the tartar still on my teeth. I would not trust him to perform any work on my mouth. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND MONEY.

I have gone here before and honestly the doctor is amazing but the staff is a joke. Today I tried scheduling an appointment because I have some tooth pain and they basically told me to go elsewhere. The insurance company was on the phone trying to schedule something within the next week but for some reason they wanted me to call back makes no sense. If you don't want to deal with people get a new job.

I've been seen by Dr. Friedman( & the oral surgeon) for over 35 years & have not had any problems with him. He's helpful, listens, trustworthy & more. I now live on Long Island & go out of my way & my insurance pays less to have any dental work done there.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE experience! He did not perform a real cleaning on me, just poked around on a few teeth. He told me he wasn't doing it because I have a "s**t insurance" and that my insurance doesn't pay well. OMG, I felt like I was in the twilight zone. He then told me not to come back to him as this wasn't the right place for me. This guy needs to be seen by a psychiatrist for his personality disorder and should not be dealing with the human population, PERIOD!!!
