Dr. Robert Kievit, DMD

My experience with this Dentist is the opposite of the reviews already posted. When Dr. Robert Kievit starts talking he doesn't stop. My work involved replacing 10 temporary upper crowns with permanent crowns. At the doctor's request I sent him several emails with pictures and what my expectations were. My emails were never discussed. The color and size of the permanent crowns were nothing like the accepted temporary crowns. The vita shade I chose was OM1 but not what I received and the size of my teeth were smaller, shorter, flatter and lined. When I asked to see the color I chose he replied "you can't tell under these lights." I questioned his response explaining that I chose the color under the same lights. The temporary crowns kept falling out. He shamed me by saying that he had never had a patient whose temporary crowns "fell out so much." I asked him why the permanent teeth had lines carved in them and why the lab did that, he replied "what do you think, I used a different lab just for you." I could not tell the size of the permanent crowns when they were shown to me on a mold of my mouth. Dr. Kievit then temporarily inserted the permanent crowns onto my teeth so I could see them before he permanently glued them in. The front teeth immediately fell out. I felt pressured to accept the crowns. I was intimidated and demeaned and I couldn't get a word in. I made another appointment to explain my concerns but Dr. Kievet did not seem to care and I left knowing that after my insurance company and I paid thousands of dollars I had to start the entire process all over again elsewhere.
